Basic Open Water Classes Scheduled for July 17-18-24-25 weekends only class $300.00pp.



Advanced Open Water:


FMAS has received a strong interest in conducting this course. The AOW for FMAS members is being offered for $260.00. Divers are responsible for their own individual needs, such as Special Equipment Required for this course. Some items have been identified as {Recommended} are not necessary to purchase immediately. Other items have been given special Discounts%, such as tank rental and equipment rental. The Enriched Air Nitrox (EANx) course is $100.00 for FMAS members, and will be combined with the AOW. However EANx will be held one day prior to AOW. This includes the following:

SCHEDULE:
EANx Course - July 22 - Thursday 5-9pm Classroom
AOW Course - July 23 - Friday 6-9pm Classroom
- July 24 - Saturday Boat Dives 1-4pm
- July 24 - Saturday Beach Dives 8-12pm & 7-9pm
- July 25 - Sunday Boat Dives 1-4pm

The ADVANCED Open Water Diver course is at minimum a 2 day class which is an important step in expanding the Diver knowledge and experience. Advanced Certification dives are credited to the Specialty Course(s). Divers completing (5) Specialty Courses achieve the title MASTER SCUBA DIVER. This performance-based course will involve classroom presentations, beach and boat skill development followed by five (5) ocean training and experience dives.

Upon successful completion of the course, the student is certified as an ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER and qualifies for further training into the Specialty Courses available.

You'll have the option of completing Beach Dives or Boat Trips for your Ocean Dives!

I am about to sign us up for AOW for this weekend. But if we can make this one happen, I'll hold off.

We spoke to Worth when we were in the Keys about this. He said if there was enough interest that he would teach a AOW course. I know what to do it.
