New skimmer

Have 140gal reef tank with 40gal sump,with sand and rock about 150gals total.I am looking a at a AquaMaxx ConeS Q-3 In-Sump Protein Skimmer or AquaMaxx EcoMaxx EM300 In-Sump Protein Skimmer. Which is the better choice and why? Also any other ideas for skimmer under $500 ,best for the money. Choices I have look at Avast CS1 Cone Skimmer, Coral box 190, Coral box cloud 9. Thanks

I have a Deltec and am happy with it. I would look at Vertex. They make good stuff. I have a bunch of Avast stuff (no skimmer ) and have always been happy with their equipment as well.

Vertex Omega 150 or 180i could work well. Depending on your intended bio load.
