I am going to the UK in July with flow sensors and USA size pipe and will see what I can bring back, once I have found them I can get my counterpart in the UK to send them across as needed.

That would be awesome.

So as long as the Profilux is in a location where those three probes work well, everything else can be extended.

Only thing missing is the availability of the metric fittings required for the flow sensor, you cant buy them in the USA or Canada So when i go to the UK I will pick myself up a set.

So today I changed from Marco rock to well cured Bali rock! I did not think I would see immediate results. I might add I also did a 50% water change and used IO reef crystals.

Well since setting thank up, my new flow pot would not come out, I thought it was toast, however within 3 hours off doing the switch out check this out! Also sharing my elegance which is stunning

Marco has its place in the industry for sure, if you have the time (and patience) to cure it for 6-8 weeks with barely any live stock, then I think it would be OK. However it will always miss many good things found in Live rock, yes you can seed it but then you might as well just start off with LR.

My new LR came from dark vats with no livestock, so all nuisances are long gone. The Marco will now be vat cured and sold off in 6-8 weeks time.

Your blonde naso makes me sad. Just lost my juvi blonde this weekend. First fish to perish in my tank and I have no idea why. I think he may have gotten stung by something. He was dark and spotted (stress colors) and laying mostly still along the bottom of the tank for a couple days. No signs of disease. Darn it.

well it could be coming to an end sooner than later! we had our offer accepted on a new house on acreage this weekend and also have someone very interested in our current home so could be tearing it all down

Moving is never fun, If you use automated valves use +GF+ Georg Fischer, all the parts can be bought here and can also be found on e-bay, the valves come in 12v, 24v, 110v I use 24v because I don't like high current with salt water, but the valves are industrial, never fail, a least in your life time, and have food grade seals. Never use pool grade valves!
