I just received three SPS

Bali Green Slimmer, Peach Digitata and a pink Millepora- My parameter are good- 34G Solana, MP 10 on reef crest mode

cal-480
alk -11
sal- 1.025
nitrate- 10 ppm
nitrite - 0
phos - .25
ph - 8.2
The corals polyps are all open but the color is less than spectacular and no growth after 5 weeks- I am using a 150 W Phoniex bulbs about 7 hours a day. I feed mysis, cyclopeez and amino three times a week.

what else should I be doing?

Did I just ask the wrong questions?

What should I be feeding and Dosing?

Is there any good reading material that describes what parms and flow are necessary for SPS?

Should I just go to another site?

Do you have any actinics? I have noticed a difference in the color of corals with them on the tank vs just metal halide. Also they don't like nitrates.

I also have the Phoenix 14K bulb. Colours are good, not great. Growth isnt as good as I expect.

Run GFO, even if only in a bag in the sump ina high flow area etc. This will reduce phosphates. Phosphates will slow down coral growth when its above NSW concrentrations.

Above all, try to keep parameters stable, and dont move the frags around or disturb them, they can take upto 3 months before they adapt to your tank environment and are ready to grow etc.

If you get now growth in another 5 weeks then come back here and enquire more. In any case, please do update the thread.
