I don't believe Reviv or CoralRX work on aiptasia. I wouldn't sweat aiptasia/ manjanos too much. They're not that bad to deal with in my experience. Joe's Juice/ AiptasiaX/ Kalk Paste work well, and with a 2 or 3 peppermint shrimp you can rid your tank of them relatively quickly IME.

Nice, good to hear. What about scarlet skunk cleaner shrimp, just added one yesterday, will they eat Aiptasia?

Nice, I will keep a couple in my LA shopping cart just in case. I can definitely handle 10 days. Do you know if there would be any issues between the cleaner and the peppermints?

Jose, it was really cool meeting you. It is nice to put some faces to the avatars and to meet some of the awesome local reefers. I am following your build thread. Look forward to watching your setup grow especially with all those awesome new frags. The Red Planet, Slimmer, and Fire Garden from Brett are doing really well. They have good PE. I started testing my Ca, Alk, and Mag, and I think they are a little off. My Calcium is just above 500ppm and my dkh is at 10.4. So I think I need to dose Kalkwasser in my ATO. What do you think?

Cool, thanks for the response. I am not dosing anything. Just weekly 10-15% WCs with IO Reef Crystals. I will keep it at that for now. The Fire Garden has lost a little color in the polyps... I hope I'm not losing it. That is such a cool coral.

Wade - I agree with Brett on this .. Just keep up the weekly WC - as that is all I really did for my 40 breeder (10 gallons WC weekly) / aleast for the first year really did not have to start dosing until my frags turned into mini colonies.

I just received mangrove pods that I had ordered from ebay! Got them set up in a tupperware with sand in it in my sump. I have about 13 pods and I only want max of like 6. After they start sprouting and I know they all survived I will probably give at least half of them away if anyone is interested. I know they aren't the greatest at removing nutrients but I think they just look awesome.

Im surprised they let you ship to az. For a reason that is beyond me az doesnt allow plants from hawaii. Maybe its only certain plants.

I didn't know that. Maybe because they r technically still just "seeds". He could also have not declared what they were altogether.... Glad I got them though.

Thanks Jose, he is awesome! I got him at the Father's day sale, I cut an eggcrate top for my QT but I'm gonna definitely do the bird net screen top for my DT cuz I would really hate to lose this beautiful guy, now where is your build thread update?
