I have 4 of the tanks filled and running. Got the sump finished. Waiting for my Genesis Reef Systems renew and Storm for Auto water changes and ATO. I have this system on my reef tank and love it.

great build thread. eventually i will be building something similar using 45 gallon cubes.

i would like to know more about your set up for feeding your fry and young fish. what does that look like? are you growing phyto? rotifers? pods?

I use RG Complete to feed rotifers . I use AP Breed TDO products to feed after rotifers. I don't use phyto or baby brine shrimp

Awesome build! Looking to get into breeding clownfish in the next few months and this thread is great inspiration. Thanks for sharing.

how many days in do you start with the TDO? any tips on getting your fry to start accepting it over live foods?

I start with rots till about 7-10 days then rots and TDO A. After that A and B1. Then B1 and B2. you just need to watch them eat. I usually overlap the TDO.

white is easier for us but has been documented to reduce prey interaction and feeding response; while this is more critical on the sides for depth of field, dark bottom color has an effect-glad its working for you.

I have black sides. Do you think a black bottom is recommended. I read somewhere about white bottoms. Maybe it was Joyce's book but that is somewhat out dated now.

my motto is 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it!' if you are having troubles or poor larval survival, delayed metamorphasis, etc., then I would slip some black under the tank. it doesn't seem to be a huge issue with the common clowns

I like your setup.nice and clean ,may I ask how long you run your lights for and what is the lighting schedule on your breeding tanks, also what do you feed the parents.

thanks
