Good reference but if you need more relevant guides, look at these for Florida amphipods done by Sarah Lecroy. I use these at work. I am an author on the tanaid guide here. I think this is a good idea. Most of the guides are technical and a microscope is needed to identify the taxon. Some of the RC members have these and you can really appreciate reef ecology when you study the macroinvertebrates in your tanks. The Florida guides have taxa that are in subtropical and tropical seas and would be relevant.
