I was hitting a 2" ring at 150 yards with the no-name 3-9x junk scope, so the new Leupold should be the ticket. It has the clearest glass and brightest image I have ever looked through. It's also the most expensive though, so I guess you get what you pay for. The firedot reticle is pretty sweet. The new rings probably won't get here until the middle of next week, so it will be another couple weeks before I get to try it out.

kid makes it look easy. first turkey hunt, he punches his tag 2 minutes after legal shooting time (youth weekend) i've hunted this property over a hundred times and never heard a gobble. nice when it all comes together.

i've been dying to find morels. wen't out for fiddle heads and was bit early.

I'm guessing morel hunters keep their finds secret. I have to imagine they'll be out soon if they're not already. I may try my hand as there's some likely spots around here. Carving out the time is the biggest problem.

Thought maybe you'd be looking for a different type of mushrooms. I know if I had 3 daughters I'd need a preparation from the Medicine Man to cope.
