Not Eating

I've had this 4" Peacock Mantis for about 6 months. It's never shed. I know they don't eat when they're getting ready to shed. Everything I've offered him that he used to eat, he just blows out of his cave. It's probably been 2 weeks since he's eaten anything. How long can he go without eating?

Is your mantis a girl or bot because I has this problem too. Every time I tried to feed her she just pushed it back out her cave. I found out that she had laid eggs. So I took the eggs out and soon as I did she ate a zebra hermit crab and then a snail I got for here. Just a thought.

The can go a couple months with out eating.
