November Event - Annual Frag Raffle

Evening folks,

Hope all is well in reef land out there and your tanks are coming along swimmingly. It's come time for our annual frag raffle

When: Saturday, November 30, Noon-3PM
Where: thefuz's in Norwalk
33 Alvin Drive
Norwalk, CT 06850

Anyone wishing to donate frags to the club, please post here (photos a huge plus!) so we can drum up some buzz. Cut back those overgrown forests now to get some healing time in ahead of the event.

On a side note, if anyone else out there is interested in hosting a meeting in January, please hit me with a PM. See you soon!
 
I'll have quite a few frags of a zoa rock I've been thinking about moving out. A wild morph of LA laker, so it does not have the yellow skirt, otherwise, the colors are the same.

I totally wanted to leave a day early. I wanted to come back on Black Friday. But it's my birthday and mom would be heartbroken if I were a) traveling on my birthday and b) not with her for it. She's worried about me spending my birthday here in CT all alone. I keep telling her that I'm fine that it will be fine...but she's a really southern mom...wants to be up in your business all the time. I've heard Italian moms are the same way.

I already bought my plane ticket so I'm stuck. Boo. Hiss.

(p.s. it's my 40th birthday...so she's EVEN MORE neurotic about it)

Well it's too bad you can't make this one. But Happy B'day!

And having spent the first half of my life on Gulf Coast - any further south and my feet would have been wet - maybe in the next meeting we can have fun hurtling dipthongs at each other. ;)

Looks like a lot of folks have family/travel plans - my bad for trying so close to Thanksgiving. Thought it might be a good excuse to catch a little break from the relatives. No worries though. Working on pushing it back a weekend. There are some logistics to work out. Please hold... :)

Works for me haha. More time to think of things to bring along!
 
Oh yeah...that would be a LOT better for me but I have nothing to frag so don't change the dates based on me AT ALL.
 
Aye, definitely not mandatory to BYOF (bring your own frags). Donations are appreciated if you've got pesky coral growth that needs to be trimmed. ;)
 
Oh yes, that's what I meant. I can't bring anything to donate because I have no corals right now!

I can bring some money maybe but not a lot. I'm kinda...not cheap exactly...frugal is more the word. I really need a roommate to help pay for this insane rent you guys have up here.

True that haha. luckily tickets are $5 a piece, and last time we were giving away frags at the end.
