now im worried

I havent seen Mitch since late june... In early july, the 3 I believe, i found pieces of his molt, the telson completly intact, some back segments and both antennules and antennal scales. He was about 4.5 inches before the molt and I know it can take several weeks, but im now concerned for the little guy. Im about ready to take the rockwork out so I can check his cave to make sure hes ok but if he is i dont want to disturb him. Any one have any advice? I really worried...

6 weeks post- molt is probably too long for the animal not to make an appearence.

I think at this point i would dig out the burrow and check. Keep an ear out for clicks as you are working. Not the first thing I would want to do, but sometimes you got to.
