These sit in my gorgonian tank and act as a scrubber for the leftover Mysis after feeding my seahorses.

Oh NOOOO.......

Blue Firefish which had refused to feed and was on its last legs - wandered into the Rhizo den. I debated whether to take him out but in about 3 hours the entire fish was consumed. I doubt whether healthy fishes are at risk from the Rhizos - any fish with a just bit of fight will free themselves. My seahorses go and pick food out from the Rhizo's!

Hi Noy what kind of camera do you use and do you use any macro lens? great pics! I love to get white or green rhyzo. I put my orange rhyzo in the sump and been doing great with once a week feeding of chopped clams. Is your rhyzo open during the day?

I use a Canon 6D with a F2.8/100mm macro - the regular EF. I also use extension tubes for closeups and will mix in my 50mm here and there.

My Rhizo's do open during the day but nothing like they do at night. Feeding once a week may not be enough - these are fairly hungry corals. I would feed at least 2x a week - even if you feed less each time. Watch for tissue recession from the edges to make sure your corals are getting enough food.

Been collecting different species of dendro's and Tubastraea.
Will post more when I have more time.

This is some sort of Rhizotrochus I think (but not typus). It eats just like a Rhizo and you can actually see the mouth open. But no clamshell (yet). Double layer of tentacles. Although you can tell from the photos - this one is probably 2x+ larger than the next photo.

This is some form of fistula but what is very interesting is the bright yellow green coloration on the inside of the tentacles. Sorry for the lack of sharpness but I had to take this on angle as its right behind a cluster of yellow Tubastraea.

Not Sun Corals but pretty cool - rock flower anemones

Green one - getting larger and larger
