Edit: they are not venomous so that guy's thumb must just be from a really bad infection that was not cared for properly...not that it isn't friggin' gross.

thos golden orb weavers are cool also..you dont have to worry about them tho all the orb weaver or ture web builders wont kill us just a bad bite.its the ground dwellers or wandering ones you have to keep a eye on

ahhhh! wow some nastys on this thread. Ive actually seen that pic of the thumb before ona couple differnt sites but I had read that it was a brown recluse spider bite that wasnt taken care of immediately.

To pass time we would have scorpion and Camel Spider fights, putting them in close proximity to each other.

Our champion was a blueish scorpion, never lost a bout. He was also not a large scorpion, but actually on the smaller side, but his venom must have packed a really lethal punch.

You do crazy things to pass the time there...
