Hey Mike, how's the Kalk Reactor working out? I'm thinking of getting a Kalk reactor instead of my Ca Reactor...

So far so good. I orignially bought it to help maintain calcium but more to keep my pH up since I have a low Ph problem. I can tell when kalk needs to be added/replaced becuase my pH in the morning will be low. With the reactor my pH runs around 7.9-8.2, without it my pH runs 7.7-8.0. I still add 90ml of two part each day and 30-60 of mg once or twice a week.

you little! haha the setosa and the grafted simplex are definitely up high on my list. any shots of the bright green on the simplex?

No bright green yet. I'm hoping to see it as the tiny frag grows a bit. I got it from a local reefer that was getting out of the hobby that got it from Tyree. He had it in has tank for a while with no skimmer as the stuff was being sold, so hopefully after it encrusts a bit more it will start growing upward.

Mike you know that if there is not green on it it will most likely not have the green

Agree with brianbiggoats. I talked to another reefer who has a grafted simplex and when you frag it, the frag has to have a piece of the green to develop it. Otherwise you have a purple coral.

Yes, I still have the fixture. I really like the fixture, build is solid and reflectors are great. The ACLS is a plus, pretty cool stuff. But I heard new units ship with IceCap if you option not to get the ACLS. I did some rewiring on mine to get a more traditional lighting scheme. You can read more about it here:
