NYRC Meeting - December 1st, 2012

NYRC Membership,

Due to the catastrophic storm which hit us this month, we are not going to hold a club meeting for the month of November.

However, we will have our December meeting on the 1st, Saturday (12/1) at our very own club member's home - George_G

Location: George's House (Address will be e-mailed to club members)

Time: 1PM - 4PM

George has two 200+g systems which he will be showing us, followed by a Q&A session and our traditional round-table discussion.

***I must stress -- space for this meeting is very limited, so RSVPing on this thread is essential, as well as having a valid NY Reef Club membership.

Hope my life gets back on track because I need to get mind off things and see the progress
George can you show us some pics of the tanks and all the work my buddy did for you
Also do you still have fresh water tanks?

Thanks Joe but I am getting better and almost done with contruction!
The email with George address will be going out this week!!
 
Is George in Long Island? South Shore? just tryig to get a feel on which way I will be headed so I know what stops I can make on the way and back from the meeting.LOL All reef related of course.
 
An email wast sent out with the meeting's address. If any club member has not received an email, please email me at Stan@NYReefClub.com, so I can update our mailing list, as well as provide you with directions to the meeting.

Fellow NYRC Membership,

The club's officers need YOUR help!

We are currently looking for,

(1) Officer of Treasury -- an able body for making club bank account deposits as well as voting on large club issues.

(1) Officer of Finances -- an able body for keeping track of the club's expenses and income -- *preference given to those who have experience with financial management -- also voting on large club issues.

Lastly, we need a "Club Meeting Set-Up Committee" of about 6-10 able bodies to help with meeting set-ups, searching for new meeting venues (i.e. - fish stores, notable reef tanks such a Mr. Moyer or ReefBum A.K.A. Keith), and various tasks for when the club has a big project to take on (as we may in the coming Months).

*If you would like to nominate anyone (or your self) for a position please feel free to do so, as we need all the help we can get.

**If any club member is interested in ANY of the above positions, please do not hesitate to contact either Dr. Harry, Jarrett, or my self *via E-mail!
