Oceanic BioCube or Nanowave

west coast left out

west coast left out

I have called all over the west coast to the different oceanic dealers and almost all havent even heard of these tanks. Seems like the east coast is the only place in the loop.

You don't know or buy a product you have not at least had a chance to take a close look at unless you want to buy yourself some extra headaches and you don't buy a glass tank thru the mails if at possible. Oceanic will not even bother to return emails about availabil-ty of the biotope on the west coast and nobody has been able to get an idea when the Red Sea new nano will be released and who will sell it.

How come i baught my AP12 from aquabuys and it was smooth as butter?
Why should i not have?

Ask and ye shall receive: I was on ebay and came across this seller who happens to have all 3 sizes available at reasonable prices, I just purchased the 29 gallon myself. Here is the link:

Get 'em while they're hot!

I know UPS will not guarantee glass,be careful.

Just dave: Like you, I have counciled against purchasing a glass tank thru the mail but with limited availability of this tank on the west coast and with such a good price, I may well be tempted to order one. I have 4 nano's set up in my office. Have been tempted by the 39 gallon elos italian tank with sump but we are talking 2100.! Let me know if it leaks after test setup.

If you have to ask, then your bright enough to answer the question yourself, don't you think or don't you?

let us know how this item arrives. maybe some pics of the packaging and such to help ease the worries about broken tanks thru ups. I am planning on buying one of these myself but leery of the shipping glass tank deal

It's packed very well top and bottom but a incursion into the side is possible.

mister crabs I'm due to get my 29 gallon Biocube delivered to me tomorrow. The big brown truck is delivering it and I'll let you all know how it arrived (holding my breath in anticipation).

please do basser!! i have been talking with the ebay seller that these are coming from and he says its factory packaging with additional box and more padding.....curious to see . He also says none have broken in transit but i find it amazing if this is true since UPS stands for Ugly Package STOMPERS.....

I just got mine from them and it is going back. The bottom glass was in a thousand pieces. Someone probably let the box hit hard cause it was heavy. It really sucks, cause I was ready to go and get sand water and LR. Get it open and bam all busted up....

Hey floridapride, that does suck. Hopefully they will replace it without any hassle. Fortunately mine did come in yesterday and intact, no glass breakage or scratches. The only thing I haven't done is water test it for leaks. I'm waiting for the stand to come in before I do.

yeah, we're gonna give it one more try and if it doesn't make it, they said they would refund my money, so no harm no foul.... hopefully it makes it in one piece this time. If it doesn't then it's time for plan B//:cool:

Bummer on the broken tank. You never know how the product is going to be handled. Nothwithstanding the moronic comment by enraged above, its still better to buy a tank from a lfs. Hoefully, it will work out the second time around. This tank is not yet available here on the west coast. Good Luck!
