How do I figure out approximately how much flow per minute I would get from a 20rpm pump with the 17 tubing?
There is a chart on the Masterflex website for each size tubing.

There is a chart on the Masterflex website for each size tubing.
I see that chart as -
1rpm=2.8ml.
600rpm x 2.8ml=1680ml. (pretty close to their 1700ml.)
So 2.8mlx20rpm=56ml, would be my guess.
ok, yet another question, hopefully not quite as stupid.
One drive i got came with long screws to hold two drives.
Where would i get shorter screws to convert it to hold a single drive?
Is this just a Home Depot item? Or can I order easily and inexpensively online?

I seen one for sale.....

I have seem people use threaded studs with wing nuts.
Yup, that's actually what came on this one!
I guess I just need shorter ones. They are threaded about a quarter inch on each end.
So a home depot item?
Quick question please. I am using the LS17 equivalent tubing suggested from US Plastics with a 7518-10 head. Even after only a few days, the tubing is slightly flattened. Is this normal, or am I using the wrong tubing for the roller head? Thanks in advance.

The pump came with a small pice of LS15 tubing who lets it go to 170 ml/min. I ordered some LS 17 from ebay.
Here's my setup. Big thanks to Mark for starting this thread. I can't imagine running a calcium reactor differently now.
If the original tubing set for your pump head calls for ls15 then it requires "performance" tubing. LS17 tubing is "precision" and will not function in your pump head. Please confirm the part number on the pump head.
Looks awesome! Thank you![]()
This is the pump head I got 77200 - 52
and this is the tubing
New Masterflex Precision Pump Tubing 50ft 15.2m 06409-36 #V2
Ah, so that will give you 29-2900 ml/min at 1-600 rpm
If your drive is 1-100 rpm then your golden at current rate of 30ml/min
if it's a 6-600 rpm then slowest you can go is going to be 174ml/min.....
