Also it's time for volunteers to unite once again!

We need volunteers for demos, lectures, workshops at the swap.
Need at least 4 of these, ALSO past topics are fine to repeat as we have new hobbyists attending every meeting.

We also need prize donations (non-monetary)
Audio/Video as usual
Any presentations or demos need to be cleared with me ASAP so we can get out an official schedule this time.

Contact me or post here if you are willing to help.

ALSO a side note here:
As you all know we are now being esentially forced to pay $5 addmision to the Resteraunt for rent on this one. I want to remind you all that the CVRC will gain nothing from this except the use of the facility for the day, I will pay like any of you, there are no exceptions. We are also looking at other options at a future location more to come on this...

Special note: Please do not take this wrong but,
Without at least 4 volunteers to share what they know with the group this Swap will not happen.

Thanks you all

I would like to step in and say that, I for one, learned so much on the closed loop demo. I put that to action and it is perfect. If that could be demonstrated again it would be a great thing for new people and for those that were unable to attend last time.

I could demonstrate on what NOT to do to your saltwater tank, :) but that wouldn't be helpful and way to lenghty :)

I think we could all do that demo and each have something different and unique!

My baby is due May 10th.....Sooo..........

I can do a demo on

Drillng Tanks and making bulkheads

or

Making a pin impeller mod using a bio ball

or

I am thinking of tackling the "Maxiestream" mod to make a stream surger out of a maxijet powerhead.

Any votes?

maxi Stream mod.
Just in case anyone does not know. It is a surger that replaces the impeller of a maxi jet power head with a R/C Boat propeller. It moves massive amounts of water.

Pip, there are threads on the DIY forum by dnguyen (think thats it) and there is also another. Mr. Nguyen sells the mods, as does another fella named Matt (name on here is Lutz with some digits at the end). Should be pretty easy to find the threads.

whatever you need Ron just let us know.... I'm not sure if I'm volunteered for the flow repeat or if Reef4fun is gonna take it. It really is just what ever you all want or need!

OMG, Reef4fun is not gonna take it! :), I was just stating that it was a great learning expierence! LOL, believe me, NOBODY wants me to get up there and try to speak! :)

Well, Im off to the hospital for shoulder surgery guys :(, I won't be on here for a couple weeks, I'll miss everyone! bye for now,
Nancy
