Nabbed this piece over the weekend.. Please let it come in looking like this on Tuesday.. Who is willing to give me a moment of prayer that it makes it in transit, doesn't rtn on me the first week, and actually looks like the vendor photo ^_^.

Come on Pink stag with Green terminals, and what appears to be random blue polyps.. Next task.. digging into sdmas and id'ning it.

I got it from happy corals my first order from him got a few other interesting pieces a tri colour tenuis, another high light piece, and a mari undata w/red polyps.

Hopefully it's not a "to good to be true" sort of deal. I can't find many posts about his shop, "happy corals" search term gives you to many results.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the red/pink is actually that colour since there are other browns in the photo.. Last couple mari/wild "Red" corals I took chances on based on vendor photos require a lot of squinting to see the red hahaha.

-Soy, ya I was thinking something similar I have a good spot for it up high. I also picked up another "high" light type piece but I didn't save the pic on that. Looked like something you would see from BC.

Happy Coral is a good shop. IIRC all of their SPS is maricultured. I have purchased from them a few times in the past and their pictures are very accurate.

Not to burst your bubble, but when I look at it I see a green thick branched stag with blue polyps on the new growth tips. Possibly gomezi, but I'm really thrown for a loop on the ID. I think the pink is coming from the lighting/photograph and not the coral.

You could be totally right. Wouldn't be the first time I bought a red/pink coral and it turned out to be brown

Yeah, but the one time it works in your favor and your able to grow it out and frag it makes it worth all the $50 dead ornaments in the bathroom. Haha
