Dude, are you home already? We just polished of a lamb roast, and my hangover is gone!

Anyway, getting ready to vacuum the tank.

Yeah, had a good time at the in laws. Now just a huge mess at the house to clean up. Tomorrow I have some business to take care of but then I want to check out that bin you bought from Lowes. If you can take the measurements on it that would be grand. I think I'm going to plumb a Beckett back into the system and use that external Gen X pump thats collecting dust. I think I have all the fittings around here somewhere and it's suppose to be a nice day tomorrow so I can hunt through the outside storage areas for stuff.

New Avatar Alert!!

Approximately: 28L x 18W x 15H

And why? the skimmer you have is really so damn sweet. Why would you want to change it out? I have plenty of fittings too. You want to hit Dahn's tomorrow?

and how was the $34 pie? our $13 cheesecake is super sweet dude...melting Dutch chocolate to drizzle over it right now. Want to bring the family over for dessert?

I don't plan on replacing it. I plan on running them both. The $34.00 pie was worth it. I don't know what all she puts in it but when I eat it my frontal lobe crackles like a sparkler and I have to eat more! We're all winding down and getting ready to pass out tonight. I'm begging the wife to make some of it. If she does I'll bring you some. You know you want my wifes pie! Nice avatar!

Well, I am going down to the man-cave to vacuum and wait for my cheesecake.

Running both on a 90g? That will strip the salt right out of the water man!

Spank you. How's your tank anyway? Haven't seen much action from you lately.

I had to come back upstairs to get the friggin' cheesecake too. What is the World coming to?

had a nice vacuum session though. And solved the missing frag mystery to boot. I was checking out this pile of crap on the bottom and realized that it was moving. Yup, one of those stupid urchins completely covered with coraline plate, shells, and the faint orange structure of a Tyree cyphastrea ocellina. I have been trying to nurse this frag back to health after the dino incident, and it went missing a couple of days ago...

Moved some corals around too. Got that sweet rescue colony from Sherman in a better place, and it is showing signs of strong recovery and growth. If I can nurse this one back to its full glory, everyone and their brother will want a frag of it.

Well.... There's something funky going on inside my tank dudes... Not sure what's up though. Woke up this morning to 4 dead fish, the casualties being the powder brown tang which has been in there for a while, my prized mandarin which I've had for nearly 3 years, and 2 neon gobies :(

Did a 50% emergency water change this morning and vacuumed the tank as well as the sump.

The remaining fish appeared none for the worse but a couple appeared to have developed ich.

So it's been a fun day all around. I think I'll do some more water changes tomorrow as well.

I'll be around tomorrow and probably Saturday as well, I'll call ya tomorrow and see what's up.

Those ribs over the summer with the chocolate espresso rub were just tooooo good!

Ahhh, more of a mole thing. Why didn't you say so?

Dahn, sorry to hear about your troubles. Get the boys over, they'll help you figure it out. If not they'll at least get you a buzz, then you won't care.

Not "chocolate sauce". Chocolate gravy. Big difference Barry. We sell chocolate meat rubs that make superb marinades and gravies. They are so freakin' good you woldn't believe it.

All I could see was you standing with a big bottle of Hershey's syrup pouring it on prime rib!

Hmm I never would have associated chocolate with meat.

Did see a show last night where some fool DID use Hershey's syrup and mint on a rack of lamb :eek1: Didn't look nor sound appetizing to me then again I don't really care much for lamb to begin with

Chocolate being used as a rub, now that I could see.

Two fantastic food items that will never share the same plate in front of my pie hole!

Hershey's and fantastic food item don't belong in the same sentence unless there's an isn't between them. Now Amedei...you would need words like heavenly, ambrosia or uncomparable to describe. As far as commercial American chocolate, I like Ghirardelli.

please you chocolate newbees...really, we are talking about a whole different league.

Diva Chocolate Rubs

Sorry to hear about that D. If the fish and corals are dying then you are looking at some kind of toxic substance I am afraid.
