Stay strong man, dont mind these people with cold hearts. What doesnt kill you makes you stronger, like I said before let me know if you need any help. My boss is out of town till Monday and I dont mind giving you an extra back.

Hugo Im 1st generation here man! My family is from Jalisco, and Mexico City.

Im only 18 but one day I would love to have a tank like yours man...

Now that is the right attitude! I wish I had realized that sooner than I did when I lost mine. At first, I cleaned up the mess and sat everything outside and thought I was done with it. No way. It was too much a part of me, as it obviously is for you. Remember it and cherish it for what it was and move on. No doubt you will be TOTM again. As they say, you can't keep a good man down! :thumbsup:
 
Hugo if you are ever in East TN be sure to check out some of our local reefers. I know a lot of them would be willing to hook you up with some frags. That was an amazing looking tank, I cannot wait to see your come back tank.

please keep the conversation in English. I understand that this is a global community, but the majority of our Mods speak english. That makes it difficult to moderate threads in other languages.

Now your talking Hugo! :D Don't give up the ship but make it better.

I know it's hard at first. I've been there myself when my tank crashed from my LPS corals spawning in my tank. Lost all of my fish, some I had for 6 years. I was ready to give in but the wife said NO! I had the tank for 6 years and it was doing good until then. But I kept at it and it's even better now.

You too can, NO, WILL do teh same. Good luck to you. I also like your idea of the 2 islands. I'm doing something similar in my 400G tank.

I'll be looking for a PM from you in the future if you need anything. ;) I've got just about every color of Monti cap there is. :D
 
I feel for you Hugo. I know how much energy, physical, mental and emotional I put into my tank and it's only a tiny fraction of what your tank was... I would be crying too.
When you have the tank up and running again let me know and I'll get you some frags.

As for the people on this thread with the negative comments and such, you should all be ashamed of yourselves.. That's more then likely the type of people that you are though. You love to kick people when they are down or just can't find anything intelligent or positive to say..I always wonder what makes people act like this..:mad:

Hugo- when you are ready for corals again. Please PM me. I have a very nice Miyagi tort and a bright pink with green tip tabling acro I would love to send you some pieces of. I also have more common things like green slimer, Larry Jackson, tri- color, etc. etc. Let me know what you would be interested in and a package will be on its way..

helo guys update:today is the first day i turned on the medal highlights in my tank and i founf some sps that were alive but they are really stressed out i dont know if they will make it it is about 2 or 3 corals only and the rest is all dead it looks like if it was a cemetary with lots of white cross'

iam not really paying attention to the negative comments i just let them slide and i also dont get mad or any thing

Very Sorry Hugo for your loss. I am sure after what you have done for this community you will not be forgotten.

Glad to see your spirits reviving as the thread goes on. I have no doubt your new tank will be a tank of the month soon. I'll wait eagerly for that day and celebrate it when it comes.
