Onyx Clowns - special needs? Average Price? Any LFS get them?

I am looking into getting a pair of Onyx Clowns for my 30g, these are basically the only two fish I want in my tank besides a mandarin and maybe another fish or two.

I have a couple questions;

Do these require any special attention other than the usual?

What local fish stores carry these?

What is the average price for a pair of Onyx Clowns?

Thanks in advance,
-Mike C.

The only onyx clowns I have ever seen in a LFS is Coral Reef Farm. They are usually sold so I would talk with them about getting a hold of a pair.

thanks for the comments, I have been thinking about getting either the onyx clowns or the picasso's... those are the two I am debating on getting...

Anyone know any of the average pricing on would be on these clowns in pairs?

Mandarin in a 30g is a bad idea from the start. Though I'm sure you can pull it off, and you know your stuff, I wouldn't suggest it, and personally wouldn't try it, especially if there will be any other fish in the tank, since they're so docile.

The mandarin would have plenty to eat, not something I plan on putting in right away, when the tank is nice and stocked I will get one.

Probably, but I would suggest finding one that also eats frozen foods and/or pellets.

I agree. I put a mandarin in my 75g mixed reef that has been setup for almost a year and it ended up starving.

not a good idea.

they are usually around 50$ each. Mike if you are looking for them, let me know

Yeah, definitely. Really want some picasso's, but if they are going to be too hard to get I can settle for some onyx's

thanks,

Yeah, thats a bit far and I am in no rush to add fish as I just setup my tank, so I am going to see if Dave and Jeff from www.CoralReefFarm.com can get me a pair later today when I go pick up some water.

Thanks everyone for comments/suggestions...
