I have a small colony of what I believe to be "ORA Hyacinth Birdsnest". It is a seriatopora hystrix. When I got it, it was light pink and yellowish green at the tips. Now it has a brown-ness to it, and an overall darker appearance.
I have it placed at the same depth as my pink seriatopora, and it is still brownish. I have other SPS that are not suffering from the browns, like ORA pearlberry acropora, at lower elevations.
Any thoughts? If you have this variety of seriatopora, can you post a pic?
