Orange Honey Chromis...?

does anyone know of Orange Honey Chromis ever nipping at or biting pulsing xenia (the elongata species)... b/c i think i've seen mine nip at them a few times and sometimes their "fingers" look bitten or clipped back by something... and they have been pretty shriveled lately for some odd reason
