Very nice indeed. I do believe I am declairing WAR this weekend with my tank so when they do come back into stock I will be ready. It was a really tough decision knowing that at anytime they would be gone and not come back instock for quite awhile but I think it will be better that I waited.

It is perfect, I see shades of purple yellow and green, hopefully it looks like Gary's someday, I'm blasting it with flow and it doesn't even move. The verracue are sticky it stuck to my glove when I unpacked it and the mouth is tight.

I wouldn't "blast" it with flow. On page 12 of Gary's thread, he has a video. You'll see that he doesn't have anything pointing directly at it. I'm sure its getting some good flow, but....... http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1036849&highlight=multicolored+gigantea

Here you can see the flow I have on mine. I wouldn't say it's getting blasted, but it has some good gentle flow.

I think it looks good considering you just put it in this morning! I am looking forward to seeing how it fairs over the next 2 weeks...

I agree it looks good. Not that I'm an expert but it looks like its getting most of the flow right at its mouth. I have always tried to provide a broad flow over the entire nem. But it could just be the video, I'm sure if its not moving its happy.

Did you attempt a feeding yet?

Looks like it acclimated pretty well for being just shipped. What are the colors? It looks like it has two different colors for the middle and outside. Good luck

it appears to be purple, pink, yellow, green and brown.

it just ate a small chunk of rods food it carried it 3 inches to the mouth

Looks better than yesterday, it has expanded more.

It Has not moved nor has it deflated, that and the fact that it ate yesterday are great signs

Ok so in the last hour it has taken a poop, deflated slightly, opened it's mouth 3mm, and then started to reinflate. I imagine this is how a healthy Gig acclimates itself. I knew at some point it would need to change it's own water. It has already closed it mouth and is looking good.

It was really inflated last night and I measured it. It is 6" across when fully expanded.

Nice..sounds like it's right on course. I have ordered gigs off live aquaria in the past not on the wysiwyg section, and found them to be very healthy and arrived in great shape. I believe they ship them from Los Angeles instead of W.I.

GL...

New photos taken this morning, the mouth is more open than yesterday but smaller than after it pooped.
