Ordered a Gigantea from Live Aquaria. Advice wanted.

I'll leave that decision to you. I might be completely wrong and the nem might turn out to be a terrific one. The colors and zoozanthallae are there.

Like he said, the bottom looks good..the top one does not. I wouldn't take a chance with it. Even if it was doing an internal wc, you can't know for sure it's already on the way out with the inflate/deflate cycle.. How big is the bottom one?

My LA anemone did not ship yesterday, they went OOS after I ordered. Now I wait two weeks to see If LA is getting more this summer.

its listed at 4 inches. the top one is about 3.5in.

im probably going to cancel the order for the first gigantea. i had reservations when placing the order, but after getting second opinions, i'm definitely canceling. thanks for the help!

Honestly, if I live where you live, I would ask around lfs and see if they get it from time to time. There's more chance of survival when you see it healthy in the lfs. Even if it's healthy in the online facility, the shipping alone can reduce that dramatically.
It takes patient and persistent to get a healthy gigantea. I looked and looked and tried several for over a year to get what I have right now.

Yes and no the verrucae are present but lose their color due to either bleaching or infection.

the anemone was not fully bleached if you look close at the pictures I posted. Also there are no bumps at all. The anemone had greenish yellow color and the base had a light purple hue to it if that helps with the ID.

This picture you posted clearly shows the bumps with the purple color faded out on the underside of the anemone.
Unfortunately, I've seen many sick giganteas in person with these kind of characteristics.

^^+1 I don't see it either

I see H. Mag all the way.. I have seen this before with mags.. Those like just like the verrucae on H. Mag.. Not gigantea
