Osmolater issue

For the last several weeks every time that I have unplugged the power supply then replugged it in, the display does not light up nor does the pump start up.I unplugged it on Sunday,it was working before unplugging,I was rerouting and securing wires.I set it up to work through my Apex controller which was set to be on all the time and it was working just fine.I turned on a light through the controller and the high level alarm came on.I then unplugged it from the Apex EB8 and plugged it into an ordinary outlet. The display or the pump would not start up.Usually if I leave the unit unplugged for a while it seems like it resets itself and then it will start up when plugged in again, right at the moment it appears to be dead and not co-operating.
Any ideas.

I suspect the power supply blew, I have seen this twice in the same circumstances, I couldn't tell you why it happens but it would not be the first time an osmolator power supply plugged into an Apex has failed. The alarm coming on is due to magnetic interference from the switching being carried through the power supply to the osmolator processor, this is very common with lighting units with a ballast or driver. I would just use the osmolator on its own, plugged into an ordinary outlet.

Before I plugged it into the Apex, sometimes it would work when plugged into a regular outlet, sometimes I would have to wait for it to "reset"before it would work.
How would you suggest I proceed from here?

Hmm, can you check out the DC tip that plugs into the controller, specifically the inside of it or + terminal? If this ever contacts saltwater while plugged in, it corrodes almost instantly and will result in poor or intermittent contact.

I can't be 100% certain from this information that it is the power supply. I would need the controller and the power supply to check. Just include a note with your return address and phone number and an approx date of purchase and place of purchase (invoice is preferred if available).
