Osmolator and PM Kalkreactor

Just got a PM Kalkreactor and plan on putting it inline between my top off reservoir and my sump. The problem I am having is the reactor wants 1/4" rigid tubing going in and out and the osmolator doesn't use 1/4" rigid tubing.

What size is the tubing coming out of the osmolator pump? Is there an easy way to adapt from that to 1/4" rigid?

I can't be the first person to do this but I don't see any other posts about it.

Thanks!
Steve

The osmolator hose is 4/6mm the OD is about 1/4"(6mm), I would try to heat the hose with a lighter and stick the rigid tube into it.

that would not be the case (loss of pump life I mean) if you used the tunze made kalk reactor would it? I thought that it was made to go along with the osmolator?

I don't think I ever said the pump would have a shorter life unless it is submerged in kalkwasser. Any reactor would prevent the problem because it keeps the pump from being in the solution.
