OT: Anyone know about old Air Cooled Fuel Injected VW engines?

Mine wont start... The injectors wont inject.

i had one there such a pain in the *** i gave it away, the early VW fuel injection is just too much of a headache. gut the FI and get some carbs, change the fuel pump out it'll only cost you $100-200

Buy then it'll never pass smog.
It ran really well until a ground came off and we charged it.
Its narrowed down to the Brain being dead.

How old is it?
It may not even need to be smogged...

It's a 77 75 was the cutoff year.

Well it's the ECU. Trying to order a new (to me) one now
