In all seriousness, it could have been a lot worse. Im glad no harm was done to the family, Steve. Sometimes doing the smart thing (like you did) isnt necessarily the prideful thing. Glad you made the right choice, and everyone is safe.

To make a really long story short....

My buddy was robbed, he lived in Holllywood across the street from the college we went to (Musicians Institute)

a robber broke in, stole their TV, Xbox, PS3, imac, Macbook, and then went into the rooms where my friends were sleeping... First my actual friend. Stole 3 guitars, all valued at or way above $2k each, then ALL THE CLOTHING off the floor, his phone, and his personal MacBook.

Went back outside, came in his roomates room, stole a bass and 2 guitars from him (All valued over $2k each), his clothing off the floor, and his phone and jewelry... Then the most absurd thing happened... he tried to take a necklace off the sleeping dude, needless to say he woke up, in a sleepy stupor asked *** was going on, robber said "nothing" when the guy realized what was happening and tried to get up, robber pulled a can of mace and told him he'd "Burn the eyes out of his skull if he moved"...

Then he kept robbing the guy....

He woke up my buddy after the guy left, called the cops... And then the cops found what has to be the ultimate FU to add insult to injury...

The guy took a NASTY dump in the toilet and didn't flush...

Thats just... wow. I couldn't believe that story when I heard it.

Rakie that is a tuff part of town... Lot of cracked out people there.. Glad to hear everyone is ok but damn the guy had to take a dump and then he decided to rob them as a after thought lol

Man this really sucks. Sorry to here this has happen to you. I have no patients for this type of thing either. I really believe ini firearms I have several in my house. Growing up in LA and watching a lot of idiots do idiot things. But man you never chase anyone with a gun. What if he would have turned around and fired it. And like what was already said he knows where you live for now. Good to hear you and your family are safe.
