OT: Fireworks Class Today w/ Pics

Well here's what I was doing all day in class.

Keep in mind these are VERY HIGH SPEED SHOTS!!
The camera was set to a speed of 1/3000 of a second.

These mortars shoot at alomost the speed of a bullet.
I had to take MANY pics and good luck to get these today.

You guys ever try lighting those things with the flare tied to a stick, so you don't lose your arm?

One of those shots looks like the guy farted a puff of smoke LOL

this didnt happen to take place in vallejo did it? there were tons of fireworks going off during the day while we were there playing with dolphins

Yep sure did.

Solano Fair grounds, a stones throw away from Animal Kingdom (Marine World)
We could see the rides going and hear all the screaming.

That was us alright!
