so ive noticed a change in the ctars forum here on rc lately. theres alot of people that seem to be getting kinda grouchy it seems. do we need to have a member and non member get together for hugs or cocktails? this used to be a fun place to check out and lately its just people arguing. and its not just the political stuff for the bod either. any ideas? :beer:

+1 to rum and cokes..... I think everyone just needs to get back the notion that there is no one right way to do things in this hobby.
I'll be the first to admit I get far too uptight a lot of times and perhaps I got a few issues, lol... So I'll apologize on my end... It's not cool...

I agree everyone has there own way of doing things and it mite work for them and not work for others but i'm always willing to try and lisen its a hobby this isn't Russia we are all free and everyone on here has a opinion lol and are tanks are not the ocean and never will be all we can do it just simulate it the best we can which is the coolest thing I have ever seen a reef tank. I've always thought this was a nice, friendly forum. You seem to have less fights than some other ones I belong to. Plus, you're always there to help each other out. That's what's important.
Sometimes I think the problem stems from people that find it easier to pick our brains rather than do a little research on their own. You get tired of answering the same old questions. What's even worse are newbies that think they have it all figured out because their tank has been running for a couple of months. My personal rule is until you can keep a coral alive for a year, you don't know anything about it. Now it's time to get off my soapbox and find something to eat. Happy Thanksgiving.

Lol I consider my self a seasoned newb lol keep coral but pester killed them the first try second try Gfo has been killing them now I still learn something new everyday and I know people that have been in this hobbie for ten plus years and still say they don't know enough I'm always learning from this group and there is always someone willing to help even if the question is stupied you guys rock by the way thank you for being here
