OT: I finally got a job!

Invert Sexy Time!
I didn't want to cause the community tank thread to get even more off topic so I'm making this one! :D

Finally got the call from Wells Fargo today about a job I interviewed and interviewed for, and took their sweet time replying to, with an offer. I accepted and now am starting the background check and hiring process paperwork. woohoo!

What this means to you all: Nothing important other then I can finally start being able to afford to drive to pick things up, buy a nicer tank, bigger colonies, more used FS equipment, etc. But mostly, it means I'll stop *****ing about being broke! yyaaaaaayyyyy for all!

Now, hurry up start date and first paycheck! Daddies got bills and fish to take care of!

The complete lack of money and life support was bad, but what was far far worse was the mental state it put me in. Then not having a schedule im FORCED to follow really jacked my sleep/insomnia patterns.

But the worst of all, was having NOTHING to do for so long. Brain went into hibernation/power save mode and I could feel my battery slowly trickle draining into emptiness and damaged cells. That was how I knew I was really bad off. Because everyone knows when you're working its always like 'maaaan if only I could sit at home and fsck off all day like dude X on vacation right now! lucky bastid!'.

The grass always seem to be greener right over theeeeerrreee........

Congrats. It's great to hear you found a job. I hope the recent hiring I've seen is indicitive of a recovering economy. Would be nice to see businesses adding more jobs.

Good for you! Good news is always appreciated! Wellsfargo is one of the strongest banks around these days so hopefully this will be a loooonnnngggg term J.O.B. Hopefully you be much better off than J.ust O.ver B.roke..... LOL....

Congrats! Other than some contract work last year for a couple months I was unemployed the whole time through Feb of this year. I lost all the toys (rv, boat, quads, reef tanks) and my house that I worked hard for the previous 15 years. I'm a software engineer and it definitely took me a bit to get back into the swing of things after a year of not working.
