95,000 fans at the Lakers parade, is that all? Over a million show up to the Red Wing's parades when I was living in Detroit. Some fans.....

Lol people have work and school, such as I. And I'm sure most of us are getting tired of seeing the Lakers parading through LA ;). How was the parade for the Magics? oh wait did you say they only won one game? stay hating bro.

That was just in the coliseum not counting all the fans on the parade route

yea there was over 95,000+ fans just at the coliseum. I was there and it was fun!!Some people were trying to still get in after they closed it. There was still a gang of people outside for the parade route who all couldn't make it in the coliseum. Traffic and parking of course sucked and it was Hot as h-e-l-l too but good times!!I got a good tan from it hahaha!! Go Lakers!!! :)

Tons of fun and crazy lake fans. Unfortunately I was not able to make it inside the coliseum but was outside on figueroa cheering the lakes. I got a pic of KOBE screaming and yelling and holding the trophy and cheering through the parade.

I was listening on AM570 on the way home and we definitely need to keep it going and keep the chemistry and try to resign Odom and Ariza.

On the side note tons of crazy fans got on the onramp on the 110 fwy, cant remember what onramp but eventually was blocked off by the LAPD. OVerall it was a great day to celebrate the Lakes bringing the trophy home.

I smell back to back!!!

95,000 showed up because that's how much the coliseum could fit. Not sure how much were standing around the parade route though. I guarantee you that if the coliseum could fit 200,000, we'd fill it up too.

exactly what ktran said. That's all that it could hold. Not an empty seat around.

Aw it's ok jflip, we know you're still butt hurt on the loss n all but it's time to move on and as each day passes it'll get easier :( lol!! Oh what the heck, just get on the Laker bandwagon already for round 2 next year!!!! hahahaha!! ;)

It sucks, I missed it today. I couldnt get the day off work :(

I thought it was dope when Kobe had everyone in the crowd and all his teammates in the huddle at the same time do the 1-2-3-RING!

That was tight!!!!

Nice reporting.... they made it seem like it was the entire parade lol. Not much you can do if a venue only fits 90k people lol.

lol i wish they were still playing.... im so bored now that its all over!!!
only if DH12 could make some freethrows!!! lmfao

that's funny..i too feel like we were robbed of more great finals action. daaaaaaaamn you dwight howard and your t-rex free throw shooting style....looking like old man Kevin Willis at the line :D

Well actually their is over 4million people in the state of Detroit. I know jflip will eat you up with this comment. 95k was just in the stadium. Their was allot of people on figueroa. Anyhow, lakers are the champs anyway you look at it. They will win it avian before the magic ever do. I gaurentee you that.

I am positive. Detroit's population is a little over a million, the metro area is 3.9 million. Red Wings fans in Detroit are hardcore; they support their teams all year long, even when they arent winning, (unlike some franchises).

Detroit is not a state, lol.

San Antonio? Are you serious? Duncan is how old now, 84? Who's going to carry that team, his dad Finley? That team is a joke and adding over rated player Jefferson isn't going to help them much.

If Duncan is 84, that makes Kobe 82... Since theyre only 2 years apart in age. Jefferson will guard Kobe Id imagine. who is going to guard Parker, Fisher? lol. Thats funny.

Difference is Duncan is playing like he's 84 and Kobe...well, you saw what he did..he's playing with the energy of a 25 yr old and the mental experience of a 35 yr old veteran. The Lakers can help Fish on Parker, but who's going to guard Pau and Arriza and Bynum and ...shall I keep going? All they have are Parker and Ginobli...no competition there. I'm not so sure Orlando can even get past Boston with a healthy Garnet.
