That game was BS on all accounts.

1. Dwight, make one of those 2 free throws please
2. Please foul before fisher can hit a 3
3. That was an offensive foul on Kobe when he BLATANTLY elbowed Nelson in his face
4. GET THE REBOUND after the Ariza miss.

1. Yes, he caused his team the win in regulation, but don't forget the Turkish Michael Jordan  missing 3 of 4 free throws as well.
2. I concur, but thank Jameer for not doing so.
3. I think we're even since Kobe got hit in the forearm on the shot that was an airball and not only was a foul not called, but they gave the ball to the Magic. Also, that dirty play by Petri dish deserved a flagrant 2 for two closed fists on Pau's back and was only called a flagrant 1. So horrible referring all around.
4. I concur, but thank the entire Magic organization for not doing so

Don't feel bad Joe, we have lovely partying and parting gifts for you and the Magic, thanks for playing :D

The elbow was not intentional.

i dunno...

i rewound that play a few times...it looked like nelson was still moving towards kobe when kobe was already 1/3 to 1/2 committed in his shot/pass.

since rules in basketball are so many, complex and subjective...IF the above mentioned did happen (nelson moving in [not stopped] while kobe already committed in the process of passing/shooting...is that considered a foul?

nelson did get up pretty quick from what he made look like a huge blow to his face. i tell ya, these basketball players have definitely watched soccer player videos to learn how to fake fouls.

The elbow didnt have to be intentional, thats why it shouldnt have been a flagrant. Unintentional is still a foul.

Thats just disgusting, Orlando hasnt been outplayed this series (minus game 1). The goal tend on Gasol Vs. Lee's lay up (Phillip admitted it), and Van Gundy not fouling before the three. It could easily be 3-1, this just leaves a sickening feeling in my stomach.

(Lets not talk about missed free throws, with Kobes choke job)

yea i'd feel kinda sick too :) It's ok there's always next year.....sorry i had too;)

Nonetheless this game was good. Not gonna lie but Orlando played well and put up a good fight. But that shove from Pietrus to Gasol was definItely not right. No need to check the tapes for that one cuz that was so intentional. Whatever tho...LAKERS 3-1!!!!!!!

Well if youre losing a game at home you should have won, and someone is going to dunk it on you with time running out, youd do the same thing. bush league rule on Pietrus part... but Gasol needs to pull it out.

Choke job on Kobe ahahah that's funny. Kobe did choke game 3 but the magic have choked the entire series. 110 million dollar rashad with only 7 points just won't cut it. Orlando will not be in it next year. Lakers back to back champs next year. I hope they can resign Ariza and Odom. Thank you Orlando for ariza

Series could of been Orlando up 3-1 if Courtney Lee made the easy layup in Game 2 and if Dwight Howard made just one of his two free throws in tonight's game

Its Laker's destiny..

Lets not discount that the Lee missed lay up was a GOAL TEND, and Jackson admitted as much.. but its irrelevant at this point.

Agreed with everything except the Kobe foul. Yes it's a foul but the refs aren't going to call that with a few seconds left. You never see those types of calls at the end of games. Now if Nelson was the shooter, than yes call the foul. But no way is the ref gonna call a foul with Nelson defending. They don't want that type of call to dictate the game.

You've mentioned this a few times, but you forget about the non call on the goaltending earlier in the game by dwight on gasol. He "blocked" the shot/dunk by putting his hand through the hoop and swatting the ball from there which was clearly goaltending, but there was no call. But as you mentioned, its all irrelavent now.

1-game suspension Pietrus por favor.

Orlando are sore loser's and this is LAKERZ NATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This has turned out to be a awesome series but only the best win!

Pietrus isn't a dirty player. He made one dirty play but the rest of the series has been clean. Dahntay Jones, however, is dirty as hell. Still, Pietrus does deserve a 1 game suspension for that foul.

I don't understand why people are complaining that Pau should have kicked the ball back out and that he deserved the foul. The guy is 7' and is sitting under the basket. Of course he's gonna slam it when Trevor passed him the ball. Anyways, whether Trevor holds on to it or Pau scores, the game is over. No need for flagrant fouls at that moment. Bush league play.

Agreed. Thank you!! Please no more mention of the Gasol goaltending unless you want to bring up the Dwight goaltending too.
