Best trades ever are Evans & Cook for Ariza AND Kwame Brown for Pau Gasol.

Best trade ever (from Laker's perspective) = Kobe Bryant for Vlade Divac

As a Magician fan.... They are one of the worst franchises when it comes to trades and the draft a couple examples:
1) Trevor Ariza for Brian Cook
2) Anderson Verajao and Drew Gooden for Tony Battie
3) Ben Wallace and Chucky Atkins for Grant Hill
4) Tmac for Francis and Cuttino Mobley
5) Cuttino Mobley then traded for Doug Christie

Draft picks:
2006 - JJ reddick #11 overall (Ok, that draft SUCKED overall for everyone and I guess its not as bad as Adam Morrison at #3 )
2005 - Fran Vazquez #11 overall (HE SAID HE WOULDNT PLAY FOR ORLANDO! Still a horrible draft for everyone)
2003 - Reece Gaines #13 overall (Over my boy David West?)
2002 - Curtis Borchardt #18 overall

The new regime is doing a better job at least. Otis Smith seems to have a decent basketball IQ, and knows how to make the right choices. The total opposite of the Laker's trades. The only recent trade Los Angeles really boned was trading Caron Butler for Kwame Brown (But at least that lead to getting Gasol and cutting Brian Grant). I guess that separates 15 championships from 1 Finals win.

Joe, you forgot they drafted Shaq in 1992. And you know where he ended it up after that.

Those were during our Lucky days... Especially after winning ~40 games the next year, and landing #1 overall again.

I use to have a soft spot when I was a kid I use to like shaq and penny. But always have been a laker fan. I use to follow the hornets when my favorite college player larry johnson was with them. I use like his grandmama commercials. But I always follow and bleed the purple and gold. Lakers are paying half of the parade. I also heard shaq is goi g to cleveland for Wallace and pavlovic.

L.A City....Where AMAZING happens! :o

Hey guys, the parade is on Wednesday, June 17. I'll see you all at Downtown and Staples Center.

Wow, I have to give myself a little credit here for predicting the exact date for the parade. See you all at the Coliseum/Staples Center.

Shaq and Penny is what got me started as a fan.... I just stuck it through. LJ and Zo were a nice team, especially on NBA Jam lol.

No love from Tmac or Grant?

Love for Tmac...but he didnt get me started as a Magician fan. Grant Hill is a POS. $17m a year, then leaves once hes healthy. He should have signed in ORLANDO for the veteran's minimum, rather than Phoenix. He at least owed the fans that much. So F Grant Hill.

Go Lakers!!!!!

Gasol/Spaniard > Dwight Howard!

A healthy Bynum under Kareem will improve more than Howard under Ewing!

Ahahahaha!

p.s.

Go Tiger Woods!!!!!!

      ;)

Yes, Bynum will improve more under Kareem because he has so much to actually improve on. Never will be Bynum be a better player than DH, though.

What is the relevance of Gasol being a spaniard?

95,000 fans at the Lakers parade, is that all? Over a million show up to the Red Wing's parades when I was living in Detroit. Some fans.....
