Hi everyone,

This seems like an odd question but have any of you had or know anyone who had Lymes Disease??

Long short of it is that my uncle has the disease and it is not common out here on the West Coast and the doctors are not listening to the only Lymes Doctor out here. They need more doctors telling them the same thing! They are going to take him off the meds that the Lymes doc suggested early and according to the Lymes doc he will be dead in a week after that.

I need help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please if you know anything send me a PM, email or call me!

Thank You,

Tyler

He was tested using three different tests by a vector specialist lab here in CA that confirmed Lymes and the bacteria that causes the disease. He was positive on all three.

That is a very good question! Kaiser said that they feel the tests are wrong. REALLY?! Then how about doing them yourselves. Oh yeah thats right, you dont do them because the upitty ups dont think that Lymes is on the west coast!!!! This is what we are dealing with 24-7 over there!!!!

have them test him for A1AD it is a protein deficency that is often confused with lime disease. I was on med's for lyme disease for several years befor they found the A1AD. does he have skin welps, breathing problems, liver problems. joint problems ect..?

I think that they ruled A1AD out. He does not have any whelps, liver function is great but he did have breathing problems because his diaphram shut down because of the inability of his nerves to communicate due to the infection in his brain from the bacterium. Joints are fine, but he had some muscle atrophy from the same reasons above. The muscle is coming back (ALS does not do this) and he is breathing 80% of the time now with a trach tube not longer intibated.

I will confirm with the nurse about the A1AD test, thanks again.
