OT Motorhead's?

Wow, definitely some nice toys on here! I'd be down to meet up at Pavilions and talk rides and reefs. I've never gone. I've heard you have to get there early or go home. I have gone to quite a bit of other car shows in the West Valley though.
I'm also a Mopar freak. I have an '07 Charger SRT8 and '07 Grand Cherokee SRT8. Both have the basic mods, CAI, Borla exhaust, and dyno tuned. Lots of aesthetic mods. The Jeep is fun as hell as it's a stoplight monster with it's 6.1 AWD Hemi (374HP/380TQ). As it sits now, 0-60 in 4 seconds. It'll beat the Charger with it's 6.1 Hemi (396HP/401TQ)up to the 1/4 mile mark. At that point, forget about it. I beat a C6 Vette by a car length last year at Firebird with the Jeep. The Charger would be more fun if I had drag radials and didn't slide all over the place at the track without 'em. I can't forget my daughters Powerwheels. She had to have an SRT8 as well. I dressed her Jeep up with a few SRT8 badges...lol. If I didn't have kids, the reef itch, and well......... a wife to regulate my spending, the rides would be more modded. :spin2:

Here's some pics of one of the things we play with. Some of you may have seen these posted in some older "gearhead" threads here. So nothing new.

Had to get back to Havasu in a hurry for 7pm dinner reservations. This is just south of Hwy 40, and a bit of a ride back to the lake. About 25 gallons worth if you were in a rush.

This is the business end of it all. Gen5 Chevrolet 4 bolt block, Kellog crank, Chevrolet LS7 rods, Merlin heads w/blended ports and big valves, Crane roller cam/lifters/rockers, port-matched RPM air-gap manifold, blueprinted 903cfm Holley, Lightning SS jacketed headers w/extended dry pipes, MSD ignition. Mercury Bravo 1/IMCO full hydraulic steering. I spent more than a few pretty pennies on this. You get the idea.

I don't care for all of the latest fuel injected laptop tuned crap, I am old school through and through. She's no trailer queen. Boating used to be really fun before all of the cry babies began complaining about the noise (Havasu used to sound like a NASCAR race), now us performance boaters have to use mufflers. Chevrolets are cool.

In the winter, we do Glamis with the motorhome and quads. A V8 sandrail is in the works also. So many things to think about these days.

Love the VW's!

I have owned 6 VW's ranging from a 66 bug to a 04 1.8 GTI. I spent well over 10k at Evolution Motorsport on the GTI modding it, it was great fun!

I am looking for a 66 and older bug, I want to restore one really really bad!

I just ended my lease on this and I miss it a LOT!!

Now I have 2010 Speed3 and I really don't care for it at all, once business picks up again I am going back to the Porsche! Of course I do not miss the car payment on the Porsche at all...

Awesome we have so many car nuts!

Here's a couple pics of some of my junk:

I love my old 65 Chevy, I get more thumbs up in this than my SRT10. I lowered the rear 4" or so to get rid of the stink bug look and am doing a static drop on the front real soon. It has been cleaned up a lot since this pic which I took the day after lowering it. Traded the last fox body mustang I had for it.

I drive the old Chevy and my 600 dollar 3 series the most since the SRT10 is a gas hog.

Here is the last car I traded in, definitely the most refined sports sedan I've ever owned. e39 540i My next e39 will be an M5

Here's the only pic I could find of my beloved gixxer :( (always keep your eyes open for bikers!) The truck that turned left in front of me was totaled along with myself. I still have a long recovery ahead but I have the itch to get another bike real soon regardless :D

I like MoPar :)

1970 Challenger SE with 440 SixPack and 5 speed tremec transmission.

1968 Plymouth Sport Satellite convertible, 383hp with auto trans. Survivor.

amazing cars, especially the satellite. B-body mopars will ALWAYS be my favorite cars of all time. I was brought home from the hospital after being born in a 69 Super Bee and my dad has owned Roadrunners my entire life (his repair shop was even named Roadrunners) E-bodies are cool too, though :D

AZ-Alan- Dude, that picture is sweet!

Y-DesygnGuy- When your ready to get another Porshe, pick me one up while your at it please ;) ... Nothin like 186MPH in a 911t

30reef- Sweeeeet! I love it!

I have a car too... an E46 325 on coilovers and 18x8.5/9.5 wheels but it's kinda boring.
5123243495_819e5ed531_z.jpg

When I first got it, next to the 240SX I owned before it. I miss the 240 - stock motor, but it had Stance coilovers, 17x9.5 all around, SPL suspension arms, 300ZX brake conversion, welded diff, etc.

thanks.

I have the Kiesler Tremec TKO 600 with hydraulic clutch and 5th gear is .64 overdrive in the Challenger. Makes driving I10 and 101/202 much more enjoyable at 2000 rpm. I updated the A/C to the modern sanden compressor but the interior is all original and most of the paint is too. No complaints about the transmission itself.

The Sport Satellite is a 2 owner car and Ive had it since 1995. The first owner was my great Aunt who ordered and bought it from her Brother's Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth dealership. I even have all the maintenance receipts and records for the car going back to 1972-ish when the warranty ran out. Ill let the Challenger go before Id let this one go.

I really dont drive either one very much anymore. Too busy with other stuff.

I noticed the newer style a/c compressor too, not a v-twin like stock. Having an extra gear and updated a/c makes it even sweeter than it already was.

couldnt see much as far as cars went. was going to put back up cameras on it but ended up getting rid of it not long after i finished the build. the wife hated having to use the tires as a step to get up.
