OT: Trinidad vs. Jones Jr.

In 2001 I would have sold off my corals to see this. Now I will only be willing to give up a few frags :)

Karl, if you want help covering the PPV fees and someone to ooh and ahh over your tank, LMK

Maybe, Paul. It's just been a matter of principle for me, when it comes to boxing over the years. The sport is just flat out disgusting.

I really appreciate how the best fighters want a piece of eachother immediately in UFC/MMA events. In boxing, fighters duck one another for years, and meaningful bouts are just too far inbetween.

Boxing as a whole has become a very boring sport. The fighters today are nothing like the fighters of yester-years.

The time of Ali, Foreman, Tyson (before the ear fiasco), Sugar Ray,Rocky Marciano, Joe Frazier , Evander Holyfield , Larry Holmes,Jack Dempsey and so forth match nothing to todays boxers.

I use to like to watch boxing when it was free on ESPN and the major network channels. But today, its just over rated and boring.

Could not agree more, Edwin! Evander's still active, though:lol:

LOL

ya but he just needs to stop, atleast tyson got smart and retired.

I love Tyson in the Cus D'Amato years. In my opinion he was the best, he was destroying people. I use to have a video of him i watched over and over.

Of course he went on to be a control freak andi cant say he is the best anymore.

I also loved his bolo punch <sp

WHere he would crush a guys side and come up with the same punch and give them a uppercut:)

I saw him knock out plenty of fools with that one:)

Tyson was great until he fired Rooney. That's when the D'Amato ties were completely severed, where it was pretty much the end of the old Iron Mike.

There is a video on youtube of Iron mike and his KO's. Its a great video, It shows how boxing used to be.

Its called "Mike tyson KO king" I believe.
