David, specs a s follows:

Total system volume= 200g (900 litres)

Return pump: Deltec 5250 (1500g/hr)

Closed-loop pump: 5250 Interval (1500g/hr with variable pulse)

Skimmer: Deltec AP702 powered by 3x Eheim 1260 (620g/hr), one for feed, two for venturis

Lighting: Giesemann 2x 250w 10000k BLV + 2x 24w blues

Computer: Aquatronica controlling temp & level

Heating: 2x 250w NeWatt (no cooling system)

Deltec FR509 reactor using Ultiphos P for phospate control

200lbs LR & 60lbs live aragonite

Top-up by Watson Marlow peri through computer

100g/day RO/DI

40 gal Juwel Rio 180 as quarantine/acclim. tank
 
Nope, its fed form an Eheim in the sump, only one of the corner boxes is an overflow, the other is for the closed loop.
 
With the cabinet doors open and my head inside - like a swarm of bees slurping on juice. Closed, a slight trickle and an audible hummmmmmmm........
(The Deltec pumps are much quieter than the Eheims btw)
 
looking to do something like that with my 60 gallon, the bommies seem to be a pretty good idea, it'd keep my lr off the acrylic and keep me from worrying about scratching :D but still superb setup, I hope I get to join the large tank group soon...
 
Thanx for comments guys, Corivus it is a good idea and well worth doing, at the time a real pita cutting the acrylic but looking back, quite literally a snap.
