Our tank's biology up close

vibrio as in the flesh rotting bacteria!!!?? I thought that only infected people, not tanks.

Is that the little curved wormy things? I didn't see it in sample 3? just in the overflow samples?

is that a worm eating pink coralline or gracillaria? I probably have some gracillaria but nothing I can see in the tank. My scrubber grows all kinds of algae and life... buy NONE of the black mat fuzz (BMF) got there.

I feel like a newborn seeing for the first time and I have no idea what to make of it.

I have my hand (cuts and all) in the tank almost everyday.

No flesh eating bacteria on me...am I immune? Is it a close relative that's not harmful?

Vibro is a shape type of bacteria like coccus is a round type. So, I would assume not all vibro is flesh eating. :) But there are many bad kinds of vibro and some that effect corals or fish and humans. Honestly it's the one thing I've seen so far that would concern me and would look up to see if that's what that was.
