Owners Thread: Innovative Marine Fusion 40

looks like I was missing that tube adapter, but I have an idea of making it work

Just installed my ATO!
Now I gotta find a suitable container to place in my cabinet for the top off water

Twice as much fun right there! I'd do the 120. You know you want it and it's only 30% bigger than the 80...

That's a great idea, really. Instead of selling the used tanks....I like it! Start them young...teach them right...it's a win win for the hobby!

Well. Finally got the DM-165M with Apex control in. Tested it and it works.. Which is surprising considering it looked like FedEx ran over the box..

Also got a tracking number from IM. Tank should be here Tomorrow or Monday!

Ordered more stuff tonight too. Ordered the Neptune DOS pump, 2x 1-Gallon Acrylic Dosing Containers, 1x 5-Gallon Acrylic ATO Container. (Going to install float switches in all 3 for low level). As well as BRS Kalkwasser, ESV B-Ionic Alk, Calcium and MG

Also ordered magnetic reed switches I am going to install on under cabinet as well as the Led Strip lighting to turn on when door opens.

Also ordered Fragging kit because when I move the rocks over I am going to have to frag my mushroom because it detached from it's plug, split into about 4 heads and woven itself into the rockwork.

awesome light! How are you going to mount it?
 
From the ceiling with the hanging kit you recommended.
Might get different bolts though. The bolts with the green spacers they gave don't look very strong.

It's Christmas in April! Love boxes of stuff. Got my qd drivers yesterday along with some needed dosing supplies...just finished calibrating the DOS and bleeding it of rodi. It will run starting tonight. I'll keep testing to see how it's doing for the next week till I trust it....I'll save the qd drivers for the weekend. Had to do a wc so it ate up my tank time...I'll dress the tubing after it has a day or so to relax...or just to torure Biz, maybe never...

Hahaha. It looks some what organized. And funny, you just just send those quiet drives my way and I will take good care of them. That dos is huge!!

Yea, the wet side is always somewhat clean. And dos is massively over engineered. But if it's accurate, I'll live with it. Tough choice on sticking the container in front or back of the ato jug. Putting the jug in front wastes that little bit of space alongside the dosing container. But without my bottles of a&ab there, it's virtually empty now.i can even put the algaefix marine away for a while as the blenny has been doing his job...
Hopefully I'll get some good tank shots this weekend to post...after I install the qd drivers.
I'm thinking the Neptune dds will be a better fit..but who knows when that'll ship...

I have a 2.5 as well, but need to find a 5 that fits....I'd like to go at least a week between refills...I barely get 5 days out of it.

Anyone find something that will fit that's 5g?

I have a 9 gallon container that fits perfectly underneath. Love it and do not need to worry about not having enough water when we travel
