Thats some fancy flooring for a basement/fishroom, but I guess with the washer/dryer down there you guys will be there a lot. Does it still maintain a slope to the floor drain?

Not to answer for Padrino, but yes. Front loading washer/dryers are much easier on the back if raised up, not to mention it's much easier to see what's going on inside them when they are higher. Great job on the tile work btw. :thumbsup:
Padrino, incredible DIY skills. That tile is beautiful. I thought you were an engineer, sure you aren't a contactor?
I noticed you have a vapor barrier in your fishroom/mechanical room. Are you planning to separate your furnace/AC/Water heater from your fishroom with a vapor barrier and separate intake? From the photos earlier in this thread it looked like you had installed an air-to-air exchanger which may negate the need to separate the two?
