Pairing Akindynos

Or, general tips on pairing. I bought a pair of Akindynos from a local hobbiest, and they were a pair, just not a mated pair. Well, After putting them in my aquarium, the female took to my BTA right away and established dominence. Now she won't let the male come around. Sometimes she shows tolerance and sometimes she just flat out chases him into the far corner. Oddly enough, when there is nothing but moonlights on, they both take an anemone(there is actually two BTA's right next to each other) and "sleep" that way. Any Help?

I have the same situation with my akindynos pair. The larger fish doesn't allow the smaller one in the anemone. She is not rough with it. She just moves over and he calmly swims away. At night they both sleep in the anemone. Sometimes she even hangs out with him. Sort of like she's reminding him that she can go wherever she wants, but he can't.
