pairing up clowns?

i am in the process of setting up a larger tank and would like to get an anem and mate for my clown.correct me if im wrong,dont clowns kept solo turn into one sex(male or female not sure which)?how do you get the proper sex mate?also what would be a good anem for them to host in.my present clown is wild caught and hosts about anything from xenia to clams.im not sure if it is a sebae clown but i think it is.any advise please,here is a pic of the clown for positive ID.

solo clowns will turn female. your best bet to pair up with your current clarki is to get a very small clarki, which will most likely be male, and keep a close eye on things. Chances are she'll bully a bit, but if it gets too nasty you may need to seperate and look into some options like introducing with a specimine container, etc. HTH . Make sure you get a smaller one that isn`t in a tank by itself for a long time .
