I had a huge paly that was on a rock that could not be removed without major rework of the rock stack. So I introduced the paly to aiptasia x. There were about 100 polyps total. I blasted about one third. These polyps have died back. Will the aiptasia x kill the rest of the polyps? Is aiptasia x a systemic chemical or just contact killer?

I don't know what's in it. You can use some kalk(lime) powder mixed to a slurry and spot injected instead. This saves $ and is just as lethal to aiptaisa and other life forms and it's just calcium hydroxide adding calcium and alkainity to the tank . Just don't use too much at once.

you could try hitting them again sometimes it takes more than one try with aptasia as well. you could also try using a hypodermic needle and some white vinigar, just stabb the trunk and squirt a little in. ( it helps if you know a diabetic who takes insulin they have needles and you now need a script to get them. this will also work with saturated lime water.
i borrowed (really took) one from my dad and killed a lot of purple shrooms with the vinigar worked pretty well
