Sean you will be bumped to the end of the line for giving me a hard time. Haaaaaa You know Im kidding dont get your thong in a bunch.
Are you implying that your not renewing your membership Zach?
hey i just want to know when we start passing the beer/whisky around lol
Hey angela- I like that Idea, If you check it out then you are responsible for replacement if it is lost or broken........but what if it breaks while you have it because it is old.....or was improperly used before you got it and it didnt work from the get go or was already damaged in some way. I like the idea but mabe we can have a penalty for having the item checked out from rhett for more than 2 weeks or something like that, and use the fines to go for more/replacement club equipment? I think the only way he will actually be able to keep tabs is if people are forced to return it to him in person. I'd drive to springhill if someone was gonna save me a ton of money by not having to buy something myself, but thats just me and I live in the boro, may be different for those further north.
nightfire- good thought! Personally with club dues as low as they are Id be willing to put in some cash in some kind of collection to buy club items for all to use once we get the checkout procedures followed better.
just my .02
And Rhett, if not, then put your dog to work and show us how good she is![]()
Short memory! I asked you that same question, about buying a Hanna meter when you were doing Rhett's job last year? ( No scolding anyone going on here ) But what was said was I'll have to check with someone on that and It ended there. Seeing as the Club has plenty of money IMO unless It's to build a war chest or something It should be used to benefit the paying members. After all It Is their money! JMHO. And I know It cost money to run the frag swap but It should not be so much as It depletes the entire treasurey, With all the new members MTRC has It must provide some benefit to people for their investment or like some they will leave...I definitely think that buying other equipment would be great. One example I think Zach has brought up (if not on here, then at work) was a phosphate meter.

i like the idea of pooling money together for equipment but ya know where that will lead...pointing fingures and blaming thought a good idea, one way to fix that is to maybe make a section here on RC listing equipment availible, persons name who has it at the time it is due back.....the site would require you to leave a credit card number to "rent" the equipment but it will still be free though if not returned by due date the card will be charged x amount for late fee and if its not returned at all for whatever reason it will be charged the total amount of the purchased price and with the money that is taken we will purchase the exact equipment
I found the par meter and it is still in good working order for the person who has it. They apologized several times for having it this long. It got put in a fish room and was forgot about which anyone of us could do. I will have it in hand by Friday or Saturday. From now on the person who gets it will have to bring it back to me before the next person can get it. I think that is the best way for now if someone has a better idea Im all ears for it. Zach if I sounded rude in the begining I apologize just rubbed me wrong and I was having a bad day. Atleast if someone has to come get it and bring it back I will remember who I handed it to.
its something anyone could have done.....personally i think rhett didnt get enough donuts that day ta make em happylol just kidding rhett bud, anyways no harm im sure, best way i see of doing this is the way you are doing it rhett or the way i suggested, either way i think we still need to pass the beer/whisky round
lol
