Par Values of Halides

I'm sure it's an old question but i can't seem to find a thread. Has anyone tested Par specifics of any 250w MH bulbs? Time for a change.

I'm new to Halides....roughly what % does PAR decrease over a year period? is this the reason to change? or is it due to spectral changes?

I'm testing some 9mo old phoenix and like the color. but significanly dimmer than what i expcetd. I'm assuming due to the age of the bulbs? compared to new odyeesa 10k

I think you can find them in the sticky's at the top from Dr. Sanjays site. I think youre looking for the PPFD number

I'm not sur how relevant all that is since it's all SE bulbs. I'm runnin DE. Good generalization on ballast/bulb manufactureres tho. just not sure how much of tha info can carry over to DE....excellent pic comparisons...

no its not the par its a combination of things instead of par, I really dont understand it all but they have the DE bulbs also, use this
