Paracheilinus Attenuatus (Diamond Tail Flasher wrasse)

The trio is a very nice find; not something that's at all a frequent opportunity.

It will sell fast; very fast. You must be quick.

yes, i think i am going to pass.

i imagine you are right based on the feedback here about how fast it will see. my leopard (bipartitus) trio that i got from dd had numerous folks trying to get it after me and the attenuatus seems more "highly regarded".

thanks for the photos of your diamond tail by the way, great specimen.

Seeing how aggressive mine is (not like Whipfin aggressive, but much more so than I would have expected from a smaller Flasher!), I am not sure how 3 would do in a tank with other wrasses. I am guessing ~$700 for the trio?

They are a bit aggressive, but not overly aggressive. Mine holds his ground, but isn't much of one to initiate an attack. My P. octotaenia is still more aggressive.

I am guessing $499 for the trio.

Mine has been going after my C. lubbocki lately (initiating). And as already mentioned, is the most aggressive at feeding time. Good to know on the P. octotaenia; that was one I had been considering for a bit now...

They leave each other alone, given the physical size difference between the two. But the octotaenia is not afraid to boss around some Cirrhilabrus which are larger than him, if he's having an off day. :)

Mine is hiding in the rocks the last two days now, I hope he gets bold enough to come back out eventually. I havent seen it but I think he's getting a little grief from my M. kuiteri. Im kinda on the fence about what to do about it at this point.

499.00 would be pretty good for a trio, doesn't matter though cause Id never be able to be fast enough. Im thinking they'll be gone instantly.

I didnt even see it until they were gone. That Hybrid Geni Angel is awesome though. Someone tell my wife I want it for Christmas.

I had to get them today. I lost the one male I got from NY aquatics when Inwent on vacation last month. I got the male yesterday from DD, and when Insaw them list the trio I had to have them. Even though its a pair now, I am glad as females are hard to find.

No I dont think the two males will work, the pair is going to be in the reef and my friend is taking the other male. He has been looking for one too. I have another tank to fill anyways ;)

Thanks fellas! You guys push me and my wallet harder than I want to go

Bryan

bryan - any update on your dd grab from last month? curious how the pair you got from dd is doing now that's been a few weeks.

also, saw another pair going up today on dd. anyone from here getting them?
