I got the mad divers den ninja skills lol. Scheduled delivery for tomorrow. I called Foster Smith and made sure that a signature is not going to be required so he doesn't sit at the Fedex location for 7 hours like the last guy. Let my work know too so I can go acclimate him as soon as he is dropped off.
Well Fedex finally delivered him and tbh it's not looking good. He's definitely not as active as the last one and it looks like Fedex did a number to the box. It was bent in some places and there was water leakage inside, which is surprising because LA bags their stuff very well. He's acclimating right now so we will see...
Well he seems to be ok now, moving around a lot. Weird thing is he didn't go for a burrow right away like the other one did, he's hanging out on my magnet cleaner for some reason.
Lately I've been getting a lot of beat-up boxes from FedEx at work. I never really had that happen much until the past year. The last box I got was even partially opened.....
Well he's gone, I guess I shouldn't have expected otherwise. I've triple tested my parameters and everything comes up just fine, I think i'm just cursed. Maybe I'll just go pick up that chragra at the lfs...
No doonnnntttttt >.< You'll be so dissapointed after having peacocks. I only ever see my chigara when I feed it, and only his appendages when they fly out of the hole to grab the food. He doesn't even come out to chase it. =(
I'll bet you didn't do anything wrong. These things aren't indestructable creatures like some people make them out to be. I lost a peacock, havanensis, and a N. wennerae for no apparent reason and in different tanks. I tested my water like mad and couldn't find anything wrong with my tanks either.
